I’m tired and the first book in this series took me for a 5.5 hour emotional ride this afternoon/evening, so this loose sketch of Katniss is all I can muster for now. Better fanart will come later, once I’m more emotionally stable.

This is my half of an art trade between the two of us. Lin’s birthday is actually tomorrow, but I got this done today to make sure it was ready in time! These are her original characters, and I found them all so adorable that I had to draw them!

This is fanart of Max Gamer, the eponymous title character of a comic by Dr. Frank Gaskill (with art and art input from Ryan Kelly and Kara Dahlheimer). Max has Asperger’s (like myself), and this comic was written to help raise awareness and give kids with Asperger’s something to relate to. I would have loved this as a kid.
P.S. I wanted to be a paleontologist when I was Max’s age, too. (I’m now using my Aspergian focus to become an archivist/historian, as well as doing sportswriting and cartooning on the side.)

Abe and Mihashi for @catchernumber_2! She wanted a little more yaoi in her picture, so I tried to draw them a little more intimately.
(For the record, when you’re commissioning me, feel free to ask for yaoi, but don’t expect it to be hardcore. Ask any artist and they’ll tell you that it’s really, really awkward and uncomfortable to draw someone else’s porn. That being said, I’m perfectly fine drawing people of all sexual persuasions kissing, etc.)
